Thanks, Patti! I’m fascinated that we had such fear of hemp products that we outlawed it all in the last midcentury. Up to that time, hemp was used extensively–cheap, renewable, low water usage, versitile. I think we should bring back this useful plant. Thanks for providing us with such great information. Makes me actually want to sew again (but don’t tell anyone)!

I wish I could afford to do my kitchen and bathrooms. =0) Perhaps in the next couple of years.

There are some beautiful, sustainable, recycled products that call my name. I love the Vetrazo recycled glass counter tops. Along with glass tiles for the backsplashes, I’d be a happy camper.
